I LOVE this gorgeous Dolce & Gabbana animal print swimsuit. It reminds me of something Elizabeth Taylor or Joan Collins would have worn in the heyday of Hollywood. I like the idea of taking a suit like this and thinking of it more as a bodysuit, something that can be worn not just at the pool or beach. The suit alone is sexy and flattering, it’s a leopard print after all! The silhouette gives you an hourglass shape by slimming your middle and playing up your cleavage with the bra shaped top and wide set straps (seriously, even if you don’t naturally have cleavage, anything from Dolce makes you look like Sophia Loren).
So how to take this suit beyond the beach? Think of it as a fashion piece. Mix it with a pencil skirt to add some demure sex appeal. I like cream to keep it light in summer. A high-waisted short would also be great to show off tanned legs. For the ultimate in glam, think of Joan and Liz. They would certainly add fabulous jewelry! A statement necklace is the ultimate in glam and the gold keeps in tone with the animal print. Now you could go with a gold strappy sandal, but we are thinking sexy here, so go for a pop of red. This red satin stiletto is the icing on the cake for a look that is glam enough for Joan and new enough for Christina Hendricks.
